Can I use Platinum Face I to practise actual injections?
Platinum Face I is a muscle anatomy model — it does not include silicone skin for needle insertion practice. It is designed for anatomical study, muscle mapping and treatment planning. To add skin-based injection practice, upgrade to Pro I by purchasing the Platinum Skin overlay separately.
Is Platinum Face I compatible with the Platinum Skin overlay?
Yes. The skull base of Platinum Face I is designed to accept the Platinum Skin silicone overlay, which is sold separately as part of the Pro series. This allows you to upgrade from anatomy study to injection simulation without replacing the model.
How are the muscles coloured?
Each muscle group uses a distinct colour to allow immediate visual differentiation during study.
Can I disassemble the model?
The lower jaw is removable. The muscle layer on Platinum Face I is fixed to the skull base. For a fully disassembled multi-layer model, see Platinum Face Pro I.
How do I clean the model?
A care card is included with every model.
